Inspired by Ali Edwards & The Simple Woman’s Daybook
Outside my window…a dark, crisp night…the end of a beautiful Indian summer day. The leaves are falling and the ground is dappled with many colors.
I am thinking…about my first Girl Scout Daisy meeting tomorrow afternoon. I am the troop leader.
I am thankful for…going to an excellent parenting class on Saturday, Positive Discipline workshop. I learned so many new ways to be a better parent and have the kids contribute to our family dynamic in a positive way.
From the kitchen…leftover pot roast from Saturday night and salad with celery that was cut by Ella. Dylan set the forks out on the table.
I am wearing…pink tissue tee, khaki cargos, and Tsubo maryjanes.
I am creating…plans for Thanksgiving week — activities for the kids, Christmas photos, and dinner menus.
I am going…to Body Pump tomorrow morning.
I am reading…lots of blog entries, including this one at Simple Kids, Journalution, and Shimelle’s blogging prompts.
I am hoping…that I can get an appointment with the dentist and that he can fix my mouth guard very soon.
I am hearing…two little people who are supposed to be in bed, but are still awake.
Around the house…the kitchen is clean and the coffee pot is ready for the morning.
One of my favorite things…a clean house–floors are vacuumed, kitchen clean, children in bed asleep.
A few plans for the rest of the week…Mom’s night out tomorrow night, The Enchanted Forest.
Two pictures to share…
